A -tion of Stars.

Crayon - Caribou

Dear Dry Cuticles Surrounding,
Well there you have it. Mexico on courier bold-font blinking neon for the month of January while i scratch my head for the second time between a million confusing thoughts underneath a pack of fireflies. How many clips must i drag into the time-bar before seeing the image for what it truly is. No wonder time has been decapitated when such incisions are made on the image. Look at what a wonderful thing cindy sherman did to herself. At least she's honest about it.

The toilet doesn't work. I scrub the floors after it having overflowed and wonder what it means to love. Is it simple and complex as a text-message, are text-messages both simple and complex because love is? Are our emotions becoming more and more conceptual because of such mediations? The suffix "-tion" denotes an action or condition, forming nouns of condition and action. "Dation" as in the act of giving, not a gift, but the giving of one thing in payment of another which was due. Like trading your sadness for a pint of Ben & Jerry's cookie dough ice-cream or to dation one sack of lonely for a kiss that's been owed since long ago. Why is it unbelievable that we haven't yet lived on venus or uranus or that a really good poem writ and floating around outerspace hasn't been a part of NASA's agenda? Why are poets the last to go to outerspace when they have already been there for thousands of years?

heart,
Clippy Sherman
